Construction of the Tropical Greenhouse started on the 24th of November 2005, and completed on the 22nd of February 2006. Its total surface area is 312 m2 (3.358ft²), with a side height of 400 cm and a center height of 750 cm.
240m3 (8.475ft³) of filling material, 90 m3 (3.178ft³) of soil, 50 m3 (1.765ft³) pine bark, and 25 m3 (882,87 ft³) of stones and pebbles were used. For the erection of the greenhouse structure, the ladder of the fire engine from the nearby Toparlar Municipality, was used.
Palms, cycads, tropical fruits, sterlitzia and bananas, various tropical shrubs and trees are housed here.
